Ayurvedic and Yoga Therapy
Therapy based in Liverpool.
M.A.P. Therapy is a supportive and personal approach to the individual allowing for the study of the causative factors of ill health and what action needs to be taken to help reduce, manage or eliminate unnecessary suffering. In its place, we aim to help you find freedom from many negative symptoms, to achieve an enhanced daily experience and a sense of personal strength.
This line of therapy is a safer and gentle way of working with the natural capacity of your body and mind to optimise wellbeing. It teaches you how to care for yourself in your environment, making progress more sustainable. The aim will be an improved sense of self and self trust for you to respond better to your changing circumstances and every day life.
This therapeutic approach is based on the comprehensive Yogic model of health which stands out for its holistic perspective, integrating all facets of life instead of isolating individual body parts or systems. Ayurvedic care combines knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine, remedies and practices. This knowledge supports management of disorders or personal issues, pain management, improved sleep, immune function, self care and awareness. Looking at your primary concerns and the parallel issues that spring from them. Yoga Therapy works with you to address specific goals while considering any limitations you might be experiencing.
Our personal training is not only direct from yogic practices and methodology but also includes wider mind/ body therapy connection work from a range of western modalities. Through this research we can provide care that enables us to work directly or indirectly with the disorder and evolve at a pace and ability of the individual. Yoga therapy and Ayurvedic Practices are for everyone at every age and ability. They can be also be used successfully alongside more available western medical care.
