How we started

I began to study Ayurvedic Medicine to help my daughter who was diagnosed with suspected Endometriosis.  Having suffered from severe endometirosis for over 30 years myself, as my mother did, I wanted to find better answers to help treat her, myself and this often misunderstood disorder.

Through Ayurvedic medicine, improved diet knowledge and personalised changes, my daughter and I have been symptom free for years. To say that this was life changing for us both, is an understatement. During training for these personal reasons I was able to help other family members with chronic migraine, fertility issues, digestive problems and in the end, finally changed career to study further Ayurvedic medicine alongside other modalities that work well in ensuring long term relief.

All my training has been with Ayurvedic doctors of longstanding working in the U.K. and was always client based / led from the start. Further training was to enhance my offering as a practitioner and expand it into how safe meditative practices and breath work can help with pain management and personal discomfort. Yoga therapy training enables me to deliver further care and wider options to improved pain relief,  improved stability and mobility and again a freedom from personal discomfort.

Yoga therapy training has been from yoga therapists working over 20 years in this field,  western medically trained doctors and practitioners. Whilst it is a relatively new concept here it is already being used in many American hospitals to enhance recovery for a huge variety of conditions.

For the enhanced living experience of my family members and myself,  I will be forever grateful to those who passed on their knowledge and their experiences and their genuine and generous desire to help others.

My patient work is an individual process every time. It is a privilege to help and see the transformation to patients lives. I offer individually tailored therapy or programmes to help reduce pain, repatterning of unhelpful actions, tackle difficult issues emotionally and physically.  All the work we do together is aimed to be at a pace and cost to suit the individual.

Feel free to call without obligation to see how we can help.
