18 months ago I was really struggling with chronic migraine. I have had this since I was 12, and am now 56. It had got so much worse recently but ..then I met Tara. I cannot speak more highly of her, her obvious knowledge, professionalism and passion for what she does.
Working closely with her I have listened, learned and put into practice what she has taught me. I now have migraines approximately 1 or 2 times per month, sometimes less frequently, as opposed to every other day at least. To say that this has changed my quality of life is an understatement.

We are now focusing on my fibromyalgia and I am starting to see improvements, especially in my energy levels. All the work that Tara has done with me have such a sound basis and most importantly a proven track record from thousands of years of development and practice.
My husband has been so impressed in the changes in me that he is now a patient of Tara’s himself.

My advice to anyone considering Tara as their ayurvedic practitioner is YES DO IT!!! At the very least this is an opportunity to embark on a holistic approach to improving your diet and digestion and hence your health. At best – if you are like me – it could completely change your way of life

Modern medicine has its place in emergency care but long standing problems are often offered quick fix 'treatments' to stop/hide/mask the underlying issue.

Tara is so welcoming, she listens to your issues and completes a holistic and detailed assessment. She then uses this to formulate a personal treatment plan including changes to diet and herbal medicines.
The ayurvedic treatments have helped me be more aware of what my body needs and the impact caused by putting things in that don't agree with it.
Ayurvedic medicine to me is about rebalancing and when things are well balanced both physically and mentally I am happier.
Specifically Tara gave advice to help with red irritated skin and since applying the Ayurvedic principles she has taught me my skin is much calmer and if it does flare up I can use diet and herbs to calm it again.

As someone with a family history of breast cancer, when I noticed the slow creep of peri - menopause in my late 40s, I was keen to explore alternative options that would help manage my symptoms. Headaches, brain fog, low energy and mood, and bloating seemed to be affecting me more than before - to the point where the days where I felt myself were becoming few and far between! I sought help from Tara because I was interested in her holistic approach to women’s health. She’s clearly a very knowledgable Ayurvedic practitioner but she also has a very gentle and caring manner which means it’s easy to open up to her about what can sometimes be sensitive issues.
For the last 6 months or so Tara’s been treating me with a combination of Ayurvedic supplements, home remedies, meditation and yoga techniques and my symptoms have disappeared completely. I feel much more like my old self and friends have even remarked on how much brighter I look. As well as making me feel physically better, Tara’s also taught me to become more aware of how I’m feeling emotionally and given me ways to manage my emotions with kindness and patience. For anyone else who is interested in exploring alternative health options then I’d say speak to Tara - I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I came to see Tara a few months ago following an uncomfortable feeling in my pelvic area. Tara tailored a programme of yoga movements and suggestions to help. I have been doing the routine and checking in with Tara regularly to make any adjustments necessary and I’m so happy with the progress I have made with Tara’s support. The uncomfortable feeling has gone and I feel much more relaxed and energetic. I would highly recommend Tara.

I couldn’t recommend Tara more. Her deep insights into what Ayurveda has to offer based on both personal experience and her extensive experience as a health practitioner were a wonderful basis for my own learning and ongoing healing journey. She’s knowledgable, gentle and generous of spirit, and her bespoke recommendations were incredibly detailed and made a lot of sense to me. They were indeed like a clearly laid out MAP for me to follow.
Ayurveda is a remarkable system. The ultimate aim of its components in combination, e.g. dietary and behavioural changes, use of meditation and mindfulness, use of herbs, home remedies and oil treatments (abhyanga) is to promote ease in the body (and mind) but also healthy digestion as the basis for everything else. It makes SO MUCH SENSE, and while its implementation is a work in progress and requires ongoing commitment, which can sometimes be challenging, I have found that the positive changes and potential for healing at a deep, conscious level are so worth it.
The practice of abhyanga in particular (full body self-massage with sesame oil) has been a revelation, illustrating to me the interface between gentle self care, self compassion and the body’s own gratitude.
I now meditate more than ever before (and it’s sth I didn’t find easy in the past). I also feel I understand better - based on my own experience - how every decision, action and thought make a difference, and how it is possible to implement lasting, positive changes in body and mind with gentleness and patience rather than putting myself under pressure and allowing stress to take over.
